Join our team: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Nguru, Yobe State. You will work in a hospital canteen. The role involves sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. ₦290,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
