Great opportunity: we are hiring a counter butcher in Itas/Gadau, Bauchi State. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Day to day you will mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts.
