Milling machinist — Bath County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Bath County, Kentucky. You will work in a CNC machining unit. Your main tasks: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift $8,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
