You should have: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking Your main tasks: • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service Overtime paid at a premium rate.
