Now hiring: we are hiring a beldar in Dala, Kano State. You will be based on a road and bridge project. You should have: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Day-to-day duties: • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
