Tree and shrub pruner • Geauga County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Geauga County, Ohio. You will be based in a residential garden complex. What we are looking for: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors On the job you will handle: • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
