Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in Dimmit County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Dimmit County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage On a typical shift you will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge.
