Join our team: nursery worker (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a nursery worker in Branch County, Michigan. The job is on a golf course. Day to day you will sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe. What we are looking for: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
