Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in Stanton County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work You will cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
