We are recruiting: cnc setter-operator (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Devon, England. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. On the job you will handle: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear Requirements: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
