Immediate opening: bench joiner (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bench joiner in Trafford, England. The job is on a busy construction site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height On a typical shift you will lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
