Now hiring: we are hiring a confectioner in Elbert County, Colorado. Your main tasks: • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe What we are looking for: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Food handler / hygiene certificate Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $180 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
