Head butcher wanted in Harding County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a head butcher in Harding County, New Mexico. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Day-to-day duties: • Season and marinate meat on request • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
