We are recruiting: cnc lathe setter (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in County Durham, England. You will be based in a tool room. Day-to-day duties: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish You should have: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 1+ years on the tools preferred.
