Tandoor cook — Lynn County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Lynn County, Texas. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. What we are looking for: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Day to day you will prepare the mise en place before each service; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch. 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
