Urgent requirement: maintenance painter (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a maintenance painter in Pope County, Illinois. The job is at a property maintenance company. On the job you will handle: • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Mix and tint paint to match colour swatches • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting What we are looking for: • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately • Own brushes and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding Six days a week, one day off.
