Lawn care technician • Effingham County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Effingham County, Illinois. You will be based on a golf course. Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Happy to work outdoors in all weather On the job you will handle: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed We offer $30 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
