Vacuum press operator — Sumaila

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Sumaila, Kano State. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Your main tasks: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Give each garment a final press before packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
