On the job you will handle: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Run load and overload tests with test weights You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Rotating shifts.
