Horticulturist — Scott County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horticulturist in Scott County, Minnesota. On a typical shift you will dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste. Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
