Urgent requirement: hydraulic crane operator (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Schenectady County, New York. You will work on a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Understanding of hand and radio signals On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
