We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Akoko-Edo, Edo. The job is at a private estate garden. You will plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste. Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
