On the job you will handle: • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts Ideal candidate: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
