Estate gardener wanted in Newport County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an estate gardener in Newport County, Rhode Island. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors The role involves: • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
