Immediate opening: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Norfolk, England. The job is at an auto components factory. You will feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
