Laundry presser wanted in Franklin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a laundry presser in Franklin County, Ohio. The job is at a garment factory. Day to day you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
