Rigger — Kagarko

Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Kagarko, Kaduna State. You will be based at a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams ₦140,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
