Skimming plasterer — Beaver County

Now hiring: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Beaver County, Oklahoma. You will work at a new-build housing development. Ideal candidate: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents The role involves: • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork Six days a week, one day off.
