Abattoir worker — Wakulla County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Wakulla County, Florida. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths On a typical shift you will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; season and marinate meat on request; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone.
