Immediate opening: we are hiring a press shop operator in Gumel, Jigawa State. Your main tasks: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts You should have: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
