Urgent requirement: horizontal milling machine operator (Nebraska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Saunders County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Day-to-day duties: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Overtime paid at a premium rate.
