Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Mason County, Illinois. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter The role involves: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
