The role involves dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
