Immediate opening: machine operator (earthworks) (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Henry County, Virginia. You will be based in an open-cast quarry. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances The role involves excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
