Hydraulic crane operator • Cass County, Nebraska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Cass County, Nebraska. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. Requirements: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Day-to-day duties: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift 4+ years on the tools preferred.
