Join our team: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Platte County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces On the job you will handle: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed Rotating shifts.
