We are recruiting: we are hiring a wood machinist in Monroe County, Florida. The job is on a busy construction site. Requirements: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent The role involves lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
