Sausage maker — Wallowa County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sausage maker in Wallowa County, Oregon. You will be based at a halal meat counter. You will keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
