Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Doncaster, England. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. The role involves shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards. Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
