Vacancy available: we are hiring a deboner in Delta County, Texas. The job is at a halal meat counter. Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Season and marinate meat on request • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
