Now hiring: we are hiring an escalator technician in Darazo, Bauchi State. What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Day-to-day duties: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
