Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Jos South, Plateau State. You will be based at a land-clearing site. You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Day-to-day duties: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle Rotating shifts.
