Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Winnebago County, Illinois. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Day to day you will run first-off inspection and sign off the part; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); load and index turning tools in the turret; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. You should have: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Six days a week, one day off. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
