Carpenter — Hamilton County

Join our team: we are hiring a carpenter in Hamilton County, Texas. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. Day to day you will fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
