CNC milling operator • Suffolk, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Suffolk, England. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. Day to day you will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around £16 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
