Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Your main tasks: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges Rotating shifts.
