Finishing plasterer • Alexander County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Alexander County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work What we are looking for: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
