Immediate opening: we are hiring a deboner in Stirling, Scotland. The job is in a meat processing plant. Requirements: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry On a typical shift you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
