You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence The role involves work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction.
