Immediate opening: we are hiring a production operative in Greene County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Good attention to detail and steady hands The role involves: • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
